Save Our Schools Arizona Education Roadshow

Join us as experts and founders of Save Our Schools Arizona (SOSAZ) delve into Arizona’s current classroom crisis. They’ll review exactly how funding cuts and school privatization schemes like universal ESA vouchers are impacting our public schools and potentially dismantling public education in Arizona. 

They welcome open discussion and Q & A. Light refreshments will be provided. 

Presenters:

Nicky Indicavitch is the Director of Statewide Outreach for SOSAZ. She has done extensive work organizing in rural communities with a strong focus in Yavapai county and has developed a strong understanding of the needs of Arizona’s rural public schools and communities. Her background in social work and community engagement gives her the tools necessary to encourage others to engage in advocacy to address the needs of Arizona’s classrooms. Nicky is the mother of five children who attend our Arizona public schools.

Kari Hull is the Deputy Director of Statewide Outreach for SOSAZ. Kari has worked with SOSAZ since 2018 primarily in rural, northern Arizona. Kari is a professional organizer who has worked on several campaigns advocating and supporting public school proud candidates and initiatives. Her background in business and hospitality gives her an advantage when recruiting and retaining strong teams of volunteers around the state. She strong believes that in order for us to help public education in Arizona, we need to work together and move forward toward common goals.
