This November 5th is one year out from the 2024 elections and we are marking the count-down for democracy by bringing our community together to party while raising money for Democrats of the Red Rocks (DORR). What better way to celebrate the one year to the big elections than to party like it’s 2024!
Friends of DORR are planning unique fundraising parties on the weekend of November 3rd, 4th and 5th. We have a fantastic cadre of party hosts who have graciously invited you to their creative and spirited parties. They’ll offer delectable dishes and beverages. We hope you will come to a party or maybe two! Ticket prices are $40 per person for each party and can be purchased through Act Blue at:

5-8 pm Lydia Delventhal and Diane Troianello are hosting Joker night. Sit around a table, converse with new friends. They’ll serve chili and scrumptious treats.These ladies are veteran party people and this is one not to miss! West Sedona FILLED
2-4 pm Woodstock, 2023! In the spirit of Woodstock we’ve got music, food, wine, beer and gummies! (Yes, they’re legal). Hear 3 local bands playing Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Creedence, Joe Cocker and more, songs in the spirit of Peace, Love and Brotherhood. 3-5 pm Llama Habern and Julie Fernatt are planning a festive Margarita Party! Delicious Mexican treats to accompany your drinks. Salt or no salt, the margaritas will be flowing! Come and toast democracy and friends! Verde Santa Fe
4-6 pm Enjoy the view, play pool, cornhole and chat at this fabulous West Sedona location. Michele & Tom Rakey and their co-hosts Stephanie & PJ Harrison welcome you to their beautiful neighborhood to relax and spend quality time with like-minded friends. A perfect way to chill. 4-6 pm Come for the camaraderie, be wowed by the house, which was featured on the cover of Sedona Monthly magazine. Loris and Bill Benson will host this wine tasting and tapas party will be tons of fun! Back O’ Beyond FILLED
4-7 pm Travel back to the ‘60’s with Susan Valletta and Eddie Washkin! This retro dinner party will feature rock n’ roll oldies, a themed bingo game and momentous servings of nostalgia. Have your photo snapped in a VW bus cut-out! Wanna come in your bell bottoms? Anything goes. This will be a blast! Village of Oak Creek
11-1 pm Sunday Brunch. With Charlotte Hossieni doing the cooking you know the food will be very special! Join Vice Mayor Holli Ploog and Charlotte for a relaxing brunch. West Sedona FILLED
12-2 pm Sunday Brunch in historic Clarkdale! If you’ve heard about Clarkdale but never been invited there, this is your opportunity! Join Council Member Laura Jones and co-host Sandy Booth and meet some new progressive friends in a lovely environment! FILLED
4-6 pm Cinco di Noviembre! Enjoy the hospitality of Meri and Bill Thomason at their Mexican fiesta! Marvel at some of the best views in Sedona while sipping on a margarita, either regular or one made with homemade prickly pear syrup and munching on fabulous treats! Muy bueno! Rt. 179 near Chapel
3 pm Election Year Kickoff Party! Join Jim Meade and his hiking buddy Judy Dolloff at their unique party complete with tailgating food – sliders, wings, chips and guac! If you want to take a dip in the pool or hot tub, towels will be provided. Thunder Mountain area FILLED
