There are so many political issues to tackle, it’s easy to get stuck in overwhelm and complain mode. Local Action Groups like we learned about at last month’s breakfast, are a way to break things down, allowing us to focus on areas we’re most passionate about.
At the April Educational Breakfast, we’ll talk and identify our personal areas of interest and concern. The goal? Sharing our views with others who also have things to get off their chest, and recommend possible actions.
Donna Martin, one of our newest DORR members, will lead us in a productive and engaging brainstorming session where we’ll:
~identify “hot” topic areas
~brainstorm things we can do as individuals or as a group. We’ll get creative. What are other activist groups doing? What can we do besides the typical?
Come prepared to engage! Remember, action is the antidote to anxiety!
Donna Martin comes to DORR with 25+ years of experience in corporate training and development, including helping organizations manage operational changes with training and communications. She and her husband moved to the Sedona area two years ago, and, like most people who live here, love the red rocks, good food and friendly atmosphere.
